Born and raised in Middlesbrough, my story began back in 2005 when I lost my father to cancer, a pain that has lasted with me ever since. As there wasn’t much choice for memorial jewellery at the time, I kept some of my father’s hair in a small box that I could cherish forever.

More recently, I sadly had to say goodbye to another member of the family, Molly, our small Yorkshire Terrier who was with me for 14 years and by no means was any easier to say goodbye to.

Although working in a well-paid and secure job within the NHS, the heartbreak over my losses inspired me to help others dealing with the loss of a loved one, by giving them something that they too could love and cherish forever and keep with them wherever they go.
 
Turning my passion into something more meaningful, Comfort Creations was born.
